The use of automated facial analysis in the clinical diagnostic of autism spectrum disorders (ASD)

Autism can be part of a genetic syndrome associating with dysmorphic features. While there are many studies that described genetic alterations associated with ASD, none have identified facial phenotypes associating to ASD with computer-aided facial analysis. Here we evaluate the geno/phenotype relation in a limited number of autistic individuals.
